Remembering the National Four Leaders on Jail Killing Day: On Jail Killing Day, Awami League officials and activists lit candles at midnight in front of the main gate of the Dhaka Central Jail (Old) to remember the national four leaders.

He stated, “When we went to pay our respects at the Banani cemetery in the early morning, we were unable to offer prayers at the graves due to police obstruction and the illegal thuggish forces of the Yunus government.”
The police had closed both gates and were protecting them with the goons of the illegitimate Yunus administration. Despite our protracted attempts, no one from the Awami League was able to reach the national leaders’ burial grounds.” Former Chhatra League leaders Enamul Haque Prince, Kapil Haldar Sajal, former Vice President Ruhul Amin, M.M. Nazmul Hasan, former Vice President Hasan Ahmed Khan, and youth leader Zahir Talukdar were all present at the time. Anwar Hossain stated that they had to return after being unable to pay their respects at the Banani graveyard and instead visited 32 Dhanmondi.
