Russia will strike back

Russia will strike back against countries providing weapons to Ukraine. Ukraine launched missiles this week that were supplied by the United States and the United Kingdom, aiming deep within Russian territory, in defiance of Moscow’s warning. Tensions were rising quickly as a result of Kyiv’s offensive, which was the most recent significant escalation in the 33-month conflict.

Russia will strike back… Russia launched its first intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) at Ukraine in retaliation for Kyiv’s audacious action. The missile was fired by Moscow during Thursday’s local time attack on Ukraine. Nuclear strikes over thousands of kilometers are possible with the ICBM.

In light of this, Russian President Vladimir Putin has also threatened punishment against nations that supply Ukraine with weapons to use against Russia.

Putin told the country Thursday evening (November 21) local time that the U.S. and NATO allies had approved the use of long-range guided missiles before the U.S. and British missile strikes on Russian military stations close to the frontiers of Kursk and Bryansk. He cautioned that there might be dire repercussions if the West’s confrontational policies keep getting worse.

Putin’s remarks, according to Dmitry Saslov, Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies at the Higher School of Economics, have shown how pointless the West’s concerns about Russia’s vulnerability are. The nation is equipped to handle any situation.

The main takeaway from Putin’s address, according to Saslov, a member of the Valdai Discussion Club’s expert panel, is that Russia thinks the West has moved from proxy war to direct confrontation.

Putin’s remarks about Russia’s recent use of intercontinental missiles have caused “fear and tremors” among the collective West, according to Andrei Kartapolov, head of the Defense Committee of Russia’s State Duma (the lower house of parliament).
