Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal, who directed the film “Mujib: The Making of a Nation” has died. Shyam Benegal, an Indian director and screenwriter, has dead. He breathed his last on Monday, December 23, at 6:30 p.m. He was ninety years old.

The film “Mujib: The Making of a Nation” was directed by Shyam Benegal and is based on the life of Father of the Nation, Bangabondhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. The film was released in 2023 and was a collaboration between India and Bangladesh.
Shyam Benegal is regarded as one of the most important filmmakers in Indian cinema from the 1970s to the 1980s. His major films include Manthan, Ankur, Bhumika, Junoon, Mandi, and others. He was commonly referred to as the “Master of Biopics.”
