Germany’s Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck:Â In an interview with public radio Deutschlandfunk, Habeck stressed that Europe must remain unified, with Germany underlining the necessity of European integration.
Meanwhile, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz slammed Trump’s recent remarks about ‘acquiring’ Greenland and Canada. He stated that borders cannot be moved with force. This notion applies and serves as the foundation of our peace order.
Trump had already indicated interest in Denmark’s Arctic province, Greenland. During a recent news conference at his Mar-a-Lago residence, Trump did not rule out the notion of using military force to acquire control of Greenland or the Panama Canal. He said that economic pressure may be used to persuade Canada to join the United States.
