A meeting of the BNP’s Standing Committee was held at Khaleda Zia’s residence. “Members of the BNP Standing Committee have come at the party’s head Khaleda Zia’s apartment in Gulshan to meet with her. They arrived at the chairperson’s home at 8 p.m. on Sunday (January 5).

A meeting of the BNP’s Standing: The Standing Committee members include Dr. Khondkar Mosharraf Hossain, Barrister Jamir Uddin Sircar, Mirza Abbas, Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Nazrul Islam Khan, Salahuddin Ahmed, Selima Rahman, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku, and Professor Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.

Earlier, Shayerul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP’s press wing, told reporters that the party’s Standing Committee members would meet with Khaleda Zia in the evening to discuss her health and the general situation.

The BNP chairperson is likely to travel abroad for treatment shortly.
