Bangladeshi couple lost their lives

Bangladeshi couple lost their lives in Australia while trying to save their two children. A Bangladeshi couple who lived in Australia and were former students of Khulna University died tragically. They were Dr. Shahidul Hasan Swapon, a 97th batch Urban and Rural Planning (URP) student, and Dr. Sabrina Ahmed Papri, a 03rd batch URP student.

Bangladeshi couple lost their lives: On Saturday (December 28), while visiting a beach near Walpole, near Perth, Australia, their two children began drowning in the sea. Swapon and Papri instantly jumped into the sea to save them. Despite saving their children, they drowned themselves. Local police later found their remains on the beach.

Professor Dr. Rezaul Karim, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University, has expressed deep regret over the untimely deaths of former URP discipline students Swapon and Papri, and has offered his condolences to their grieving families. In a sympathy letter, he stated, “The tragic death of two brilliant URP students, Dr. Shahidul Hasan Swapon and Dr. Sabrina Ahmed Papri, while saving their children, is profoundly heartbreaking.” I wish for eternal peace in their spirits.”
