In Nilphamari a father was killed by his son, and the perpetrator has been detained. Abu Bakr Siddique was taken into custody by RAB in Nilphamari’s Domar upazila on suspicion of killing his father over a fight about stacking straws.

Abu Bakr Siddique was previously taken into custody from Konabari in Gazipur on Saturday, November 16.
Abu Bakr Siddique, the person who was detained, is the son of Robiul Islam Sabul, who lived in Uttar Dangapara in Bhogdaburi Union, Domar Upazila.
According to RAB, the accused, Abu Bakr Siddique, and his father, Robiul Islam, got into a fight over stacking straws on November 13 at around 6 PM. At one time, the accused lost his temper, took a sharp knife from the house, and viciously stabbed his father, seriously injuring him. Then he ran away.
Robiul passed away from his wounds as his wife and neighbors were transporting him to the Domar Upazila Health Complex for treatment. Mosha Mariam Begum, Robiul’s wife, later reported Robiul’s murder to the Domar Police Station.
Based on specific information and secret intelligence, a joint operation by RAB-13, CPC-2, Nilphamari, and RAB-1, CPSC, Gazipur resulted in the arrest of the accused, Abu Bakr Siddique, from Konabari in Gazipur on the evening of November 16, according to RAB-13 ASP and Assistant Director (Media) Omar Faruk. The person who was arrested has been turned over to the appropriate police station for additional processing.
