A young man’s bloodied body found on the rooftop. The bloodied body of a young man named Alamgir Hossain was recovered from the rooftop of his own house. The incident took place on Monday night in Manipur village of Chitoshi Pur Union, Shahrasti, Chandpur. Alamgir, aged 35, was the son of Shahidul Islam.
A young man’s bloodied : According to the police, he was murdered by slashing various parts of his body and using a sharp weapon on his throat.
Chairman of Chitoshi Pur Union, Alam Belal, stated, “I received news of the murder after Iftar. Alamgir used to work as a public announcer in the area. It is unclear whether the murder was due to personal enmity or some other reason.”
He added, “I knew Alamgir as a good person. He was very simple and humble. I am not aware of any enemies he might have had.”
Regarding the incident, Shahrasti Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Bashar said, “The body was recovered from the rooftop with the throat slit. There were wounds from sharp weapons on his body and throat. The murder is suspected to have occurred between 7:30 PM and 7:45 PM. No one has been arrested yet, but we will uncover the mystery behind this killing soon.”
