The price of kerosene and diesel has been reduced by 1 taka per liter. The price of diesel and kerosene in the domestic market has been decreased by one taka per liter, to 104 taka per liter. However, the prices of gasoline and octane remain unchanged.
The price of kerosene and diesel : The Energy Division of the Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources issued a notification on Tuesday (December 31). The revised prices will go into effect on January 1.
According to the notice, in order to keep up with worldwide gasoline price variations, a pricing formula has been used to establish fuel prices at the consumer level in the country on a monthly basis via an automatic process. New tariffs have been set for January 2025 to maintain a steady supply of fuel at reasonable rates.
The price of diesel has been decreased from 105 taka to 104 taka per liter, as has the price of kerosene.
However, the prices of gasoline and octane remain unchanged. Octane will be priced at 125 taka per litre, while petrol will be priced at 121 taka per litre.
