Australia crushes India: With unbeaten hitters Nathan Lyon and Scott Boland at the crease, Australia began their innings on the last day of the season on Monday, December 30, at 228 runs. They only put on 6 runs before Australia was bowled out for 234 and Lyon was out for 41.
India was given a 340-run victory target. But against the flaming Australian pacers, the Indian hitters had trouble right away. After losing three wickets for just 33 runs, India was under pressure.
