Tamim lost his temper on the field

Tamim lost his temper on the field once again. Tamim Iqbal recently got into a heated argument with Rangpur Riders’ overseas newcomer Alex Hales, which resulted in disciplinary action against him. This time, Fortune’s captain, Barishal, lost his fury on the pitch. Tamim and Sabbir Rahman got into an argument during a match against the Dhaka Capitals.

Tamim lost his temper on the field: The incident happened during the ninth over of the second inning. Barishal was pursuing a 140-run target set by Dhaka. Tamim Iqbal and David Malan were on the crease. Tamim played a shot that was stopped on the boundary line, and instead of returning the ball to the bowler or wicketkeeper, Sabbir casually tossed it forward, causing the argument.

Perhaps Sabbir’s objective was to trick the batter into attempting another run, offering an opportunity to get him out. In cricket lingo, this is referred to as “fake fielding”. Tamim, on the other hand, was agitated and took it seriously.

During this moment, Tamim was spotted speaking to Sabbir. Tamim can be heard addressing Sabbir in the match tape, saying, “Don’t push it too far, Sabbir, don’t push it too far.” He also said a few things that could not be heard properly.

Following the altercation, as Sabbir approached Tamim, Dhaka captain Thisara Perera intervened to calm the tension. Perera halted Sabbir and attempted to calm him down. The field umpire also helped keep the situation under control.
