“I’ve been away from international cricket for quite some time. That distance will no longer be closed. My international cricketing career has come to an end.
I’ve been thinking about it for a long time. Since there is a huge competition ahead, such as the Champions Trophy, I don’t want any speculations surrounding me to distract or impact the team’s focus.”
“I didn’t want it previously either. That is why I withdrew from the BCB central contract a long time ago. Many people have claimed, and the media has frequently reported, that I left the subject unresolved. However, someone who has not been involved in any BCB contracts and has voluntarily stepped down more than a year ago should not be included in plans or discussed.
