Hearing his shouts, locals flocked to the site, causing the perpetrators to flee immediately. Later, residents transported Tareq to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital for treatment.
Regarding the incident, Bogura Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) SM Moin Uddin stated, “We have received complaints of an individual called Tareq being attacked and having a bag of money taken from him. Police responded to the spot. The injured businessman is in critical condition. The family has also filed a complaint at the police station. Multiple police teams are working in the field to identify and apprehend those responsible for the event.
