Bangladesh has been whitewashed by the West Indies. In the just finished three-match ODI series against the West Indies, Bangladesh was thoroughly humiliated. Mahmudullah Riyad, the seasoned batter for Bangladesh, scored the most runs in this poor series.

 

Bangladesh has been whitewashed: In each of the series’ three innings, Mahmudullah scored fifty runs. He went undefeated twice in the three innings while scoring 196 runs at an average of 196. In the first game, he scored an undefeated fifty; in the second, he scored sixty-two; and in the last, he scored an incredible eighty-four.

Sherfane Rutherford of the West Indies and KC Carthy finished second and third in the series in terms of runs scored. Rutherford scored 167 runs, including a century, and was named Player of the Series. Rutherford scored 113 runs in the game-winning innings in the opening game. Among his 161 runs was a fifty for Carthy.

 

Mehedi Hasan Miraz, the skipper of Bangladesh, scored 152 runs in 3 innings, including two fifties, making him the fourth-highest run scorer.
