Dr. Monirul Islam, a physician at Shariatpur Police Hospital, stated, “We initially suspect that he committed suicide in the bedroom on the second floor of the police station.” The body is still hanging where it was discovered. Further confirmation will be provided following the post-mortem examination.
Senior officials from the Shariatpur district administration and police are on the scene at Jazira Police Station.
