This darkness will be gone soon; The new sun will rise again. After addressing a session in the United States, Bangabandhu’s daughter and President of the Bangladesh Awami League, Sheikh Hasina, gave a virtual speech at a gathering in Britain on Sunday. The gathering was planned by Awami League supporters in Britain. In her virtual address, Sheikh Hasina discussed Bangladesh’s current circumstances and accused the interim administration led by Muhammad Yunus of oppressing minorities.
This darkness will be gone soon: Sheikh Hasina also stated that she has not killed anyone, and that those who are now perpetrating murders will be brought to justice one day. This comment has raised questions: is Sheikh Hasina gradually resuming political activity after a time of’seclusion’?
At an Awami League meeting on Sunday, Sheikh Hasina said that “anarchy” prevails in Bangladesh and that civilians are not at ease. She said, “There is no way to sleep soundly at home. Theft and robbery are widespread. Investigations can occur at any time. “Who is ordering these investigations?” She also remarked that the people of Bangladesh today lack the right to seek “justice.” This darkness will be gone soon..
After Sheikh Hasina departed the nation, Dr. Yunus illegally took control. Elected Awami League representatives have been removed from administrative positions. Sheikh Hasina constantly criticized the new temporary administration during the conference in Britain. She stated, “Elected representatives have been removed.” They used to stand with the people. Now, following floods and storms, no one is standing by the people. If governmental officials were present today, they would have backed the people.” This darkness will be gone soon..
Since August, Awami League leaders and activists have been accused of harassment, murder, kidnapping, and torture. Sheikh Hasina called for a halt to such harassment by government officials. She insisted that “false cases” be stopped, victims be returned in their roles, and tyranny halt.
Sheikh Hasina stated, “Those who committed crimes after July 15 have been pardoned.” This means that the’mastermind’ Yunus has demonstrated that they are criminals. All killings and arson occurrences must be investigated, and those involved must be held accountable. False cases must be withdrawn. “The Yunus government does not have the authority to absolve anyone of their crimes.”
Sheikh Hasina also said that during the protests, she avoided using “force.” She explained, “If I had used force, there would have been many casualties. I didn’t want anyone to lose their life. “The police used only rubber bullets.” This darkness will be gone soon..
She then pointed fingers at the unlawful Yunus administration, claiming that “Yunus is the mastermind, a murderer, a fascist, and a dictator.” The masterminds behind him are accountable for Abu Saeed’s death. They wanted bodies to pile up, expecting the government to collapse as a result.”
Sheikh Hasina reiterated her innocence, declaring, “They (the interim administration) are saying they would charge Hasina. What charges will they bring against me? What have I done wrong? I have not committed any murders. I did not come to destroy people’s lives. This darkness will be gone soon…
She also stated that she was never given the option to delegate power as an elected representative. She stated, “One elected representative can transfer power to another elected representative. But I was never given the opportunity.”
She stated, “The fundamental rights and right to life of the people of Bangladesh have been taken away. Minorities have been slain and their homes looted. “Temples and churches were destroyed.” However, she expressed hope, stating, “This darkness will pass. “A new dawn will emerge.”
Sheikh Hasina further alleged that “Lakh crores of money have been siphoned off in the stock market.” Where did it go? Banks are failing. Why are they destroying our economy?” This darkness will be gone soon…
