Bangladesh has requested 5 million dollars from the World Bank for support of those affected by the movement. Speaking to the public on the 100th day of the interim administration, Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus pledged that no family will be excluded from rehabilitation for the martyrs of the popular uprising. Additionally, he promised that all injured employees, students, and members of the public will receive complete medical reimbursement from the government.

As Dr. Yunus put it, “This is the commitment of the interim government.” He stressed that no martyr, injured student, or worker from the July revolt will be left out of the medical treatment and rehabilitation plan.
