Israel killed 11 people in a dreadful bombing in Beirut. Israel has struck central Beirut with a catastrophic airstrike. Eleven people have reportedly been killed in the attack thus far. An eight-story structure was hit by four missiles, according to Lebanese security officials quoted by Reuters. Israel’s bombardment also included bunker-penetrating rockets.

Israel killed 11 people…. Israel attacked key Hezbollah commanders, including Hassan Nasrallah, in southern Beirut in September with missiles capable of demolishing bunkers.

On Saturday, a huge explosion rocked the city, leaving a deep crater where the attack occurred. The stench of explosives permeated the air for several hours afterward.

Israeli military aircraft launched a series of raids on the southern suburbs of Beirut near Ghobeiri, according to an AFP report from Beirut, Lebanon. The initial assault happened shortly before midnight local time.

At least three explosions were heard by AFP correspondents in central and eastern Beirut, with one being noticeably more powerful than the others.

Smoke plumes were seen rising from at least two different locations in AFP TV footage. Israeli airstrikes have often hit the region.
