Jatrabari-Demra area turns into a battlefield… The region was transformed into a battlefield earlier on Monday, November 25, when students from Mahbubur Rahman Molla College (DMRC), Kabi Nazrul College, and Suhrawardy College engaged in continuous skirmishes. Thousands of students from Kabi Nazrul College and Shahid Suhrawardy College assembled and attacked Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College at around midday. Hospitals are currently treating a number of injured students.
Notably, students from Mahbubur Rahman Molla College engaged in widespread looting and vandalism at Shahid Suhrawardy College and National Medical College in Old Dhaka on Sunday, November 24, in response to claims that a student named Abhijit Howladar had died as a result of purported medical negligence.
