Due to calls for talks on the bribery accusations against the Adani Group, the session of both houses of Parliament was adjourned for the full day on Wednesday. Along with the bribery scandal, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha both heard motions on a number of other topics, including the violence in Sambhal and the Manipur problem. But since none of these resolutions were approved, the opposition blocked the process. Consequently, both houses’ sessions were postponed for the day.
