Police discovered 25 cocktail-like things abandoned near the Fulbaria WASA water tank office in the Bangshal police station region of the capital. They were later effectively destroyed by the Bomb Disposal Unit of the DMPI’s CTTC.

The cops discovered 25 cocktail-like things in an abandoned state. This information was delivered on Sunday night (November 3) by Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman of the DMPI’s Media and Public Relations Department.

DC Muhammad Talebur Rahman revealed that on Saturday night (November 2), about 9:30 p.m., a local resident observed a cocktail-like object under a rain tree outside WASA’s water tank office, opposite to the Fulbaria BRTC ticket booth on the west side, and reported it to police. A crew from the Bangshal police station swiftly arrived on the scene and provided the required security in the surrounding neighborhood.

After the Bangshal police contacted the CTTC’s Bomb Disposal Unit about the finding of the cocktail-like objects, a professional Bomb Disposal Unit crew arrived at the location around 11 p.m. They then safely deactivated the objects in Suritola Government Primary School’s playground.

He also added that the Bangshal police are probing the incident. The event has resulted in legal procedures.
