Unable to travel to Malaysia, they surrounded the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare. Workers who were unable to travel to Malaysia organized a protest march and surrounded the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment after being removed from the Karwan Bazar intersection. On Wednesday at 11:40 a.m., they began a protest march from Karwan Bazar to the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare.

Unable to travel to Malaysia: Later, demonstrators stopped the road in front of the Expatriate Welfare Building. During this period, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ramna Police Station visited the ministry with a delegation of four members.

The protesters said, “We were not allowed to stay at Karwan Bazar. Therefore, we will hold a protest march in front of the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and present our demands there again.” Meanwhile, as they proceeded with their protest march, traffic congestion occurred on the roads from Karwan Bazar towards Banglamotor and Shahbagh, causing inconvenience to the general public. Earlier, from 9:00 AM, they had been staging a sit-in program at Karwan Bazar with four demands. Later, around 11:15 AM, the police removed them from the road.
