A complaint has been launched against 8,000 students from Jatrabari for damage and stealing ammunition-filled magazines. Police at Sutrapur Police Station have filed a case against 8,000 students from several colleges, including Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College in the capital Jatrabari, on suspicion of stealing magazines filled with ammunition and causing damage.
A complaint has been launched…..On Sunday, November 24, Sub-Inspector A.K.M. Hasan Mahmudul Kabir of the relevant police station filed the case. On Monday, November 25, the case’s specifics were presented in court. Ziadur Rahman, the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Dhaka, approved the report and ordered that one be sent by December 24.

According to the complaint, 7-8 thousand students from Dr. Mahbubur Rahman Molla College and other colleges gathered illegally on Sunday, November 24, brandishing lethal weapons, starting a disturbance, and damaging government property. They damaged government armored vehicles, called APCs (Armored Personnel Carriers), and took magazines full of ammo from government weapons, such as handguns. In an effort to instill terror, the students also threatened the lives of on-duty police officers, attacked them, and carried out subversive acts.
The case further notes that the motorcycles of police officers who were on duty and the police’s APC vehicle were vandalized, resulting in a loss of 270,000 Taka.
