St. Gregory’s High School and College has seen significant destruction by students from Suhrawardy College in Old Dhaka. Students from Suhrawardy College in Old Dhaka destroyed a large portion of St. Gregory’s High School and College in a fit of rage over campus vandalism. The attack happened unexpectedly on Sunday, November 24, after 5 PM. The institution’s first, second, and third floors sustained significant damage during the attack.
St. Gregory’s High School and College…. At least fifty rooms, including classrooms and teachers’ quarters, were looted, according to witnesses. Money was stolen during the raid on the cafeteria. There was also a second-floor teachers’ room that was burned down.
“We called the police and fire service but got no help,” the college’s instructors and staff said. The police had not shown up even two and a half hours after the event.
