Two women’s bloodied bodies found in Ashulia, Savar. Police have recovered the bloodied bodies of two women from separate locations in Ashulia, Savar. The bodies were discovered on Monday (January 27), one in the Kumkumari area in the morning and the other in the Dendabor Uttarpara area in the afternoon.
Two women’s bloodied bodies: The deceased have been identified as Nargis (30), the wife of Bidyut Mondal Harun from Kalitala Choudahata village in Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station area. The identity of the other woman has not yet been confirmed by the police.
According to the police, locals spotted Nargis’s body in the Kumkumari area of Ashulia in the morning and informed Ashulia Police Station. Police later recovered the body from the scene, which bore multiple injury marks. In a separate incident, locals found the body of an unidentified woman near a graveyard in the Dendabor Uttarpara area of Ashulia in the afternoon and reported it to the police. The police visited the location and sent the body to the hospital.
Regarding the incidents, Ashulia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur-e-Alam Siddiqui stated, “After receiving the information, the police recovered the bodies from the scenes and sent them to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy.”
He added that preparations are underway to file two separate cases at Ashulia Police Station concerning the incidents. Legal actions will be taken against those responsible.
